The perfect temperature for magic mushrooms

Magic mushrooms can be cultivated in a temperature range of 18 to 28 °C, but they grow perfectly between 20 and 24 °C. Tests have shown that a constant temperature of 24°C produced the best growth results for these mushrooms. If you want to cultivate magic mushrooms at home, you should definitely pay attention to the right room temperature.

However, it does not make sense to heat an entire room to 24 °C. With a heating mat, you can bring the mushroom cultivation to the right temperature and save a lot of energy. The use of the heating mat pays off above all when the room temperature is constantly below 20 °C. If the temperatures are even below 18 °C, the mycelium falls into a kind of "hibernation". Then a heating mat helps to increase the speed of colonization and fruiting body formation.

The use of the green heating mat

The Magic Mushroom Grow Kit should never be placed directly on top of the heating mat as this would cause too much heat and cut off the necessary airflow. Therefore, place your grow kit on a cooking grate, shot glasses or other heat-resistant object to keep a distance of 3 to 4 cm between the heating mat and the grow kit.

Then you simply plug the mains plug of the heating mat into the socket and the mushrooms will thank you for the constant heat supply with a rich harvest.
